Export Data
Export to CSV File
- In the Navigation panel, select a document or folder.
- On the Data tab, in the Export group, click on Comma Separated File (.csv).
- Type a destination file name into the Save as text box.
- Choose which Object Type to export.
- Specify which Delimiter to use.
- The Include Subfolders check box allows you to control whether or not to export objects from subfolders.
- The Export Headers check box allows you to control whether or not the first line in the .csv file has the header information (column names).
- The Include Passwords check box also allows you to export passwords and encrypted custom fields. If your document is password protected you will be prompted to enter the password to continue.
- To start the export, click on OK.
Export Dynamic Folder
- In the Navigation panel, select a dynamic folder.
- On the Data tab, in the Export group, click on Dynamic Folder (.rdfe).
- Type a destination file name into the Save as text box.
- The Export Description check box allows you to control whether or not to export the description of the dynamic folder.
- The Export Notes check box allows you to control whether or not to export the notes of the dynamic folder.
- The Export Custom Properties check box also allows you to control whether or not to export the custom properties of the dynamic folder.
- The Anonymize Custom Properties check box also allows you to control whether or not to remove sensitive information from the custom properties.
- To start the export, click on OK.
Export Log Entries
Royal TS keeps an internal log which tracks user activity and errors. Exporting the log entries can be useful for troubleshooting issues or for processing user activity to create time sheets or reports.
- On the View tab, in the Panels group, click on Log.
- Click the Save button in the Log panel toolbar.
- Choose a file format.
- Type a file name and click Save.
Tip
You can also copy the content of multiple log entries to the clipboard using the Copy to Clipboard toolbar button.
